One of the true OGs in the game, Uncle Shoes has been an authority on hip hop, DJing, and production, for 30+ years. while he made his name in Detroit, he’s been a resident of Los Angeles since 2006 where he founded his infamous Street Corner Music label in 2013. We couldn’t be happier to have him celebrating the big 5-0 on our turntables!
Our brother King Most has been putting it down as a DJ in the Bay Area for decades, but his emergence as a top-tier remix/edit guru with his “Redirections” series has taken him to new heights. We’re incredibly hyped to finally have him gracing our decks!

Since September 2nd, 2006, Boombox has provided a home for Los Angeles hip hop lovers to gather every first Saturday of the month and celebrate the genre’s most respected DJs and producers. Since its inception, their mission has remained pure: to provide an honest hip hop/DJ-centric night that caters to the working-class crowd. No frills, no shiny aesthetics; just the music and DJ skills speaking for themselves.
