Presented by KCRW\, AKILA and VANS.\n\n\nThe DO-OVER L.A. 20 Year Anniversary⁣\n⁣\nNov 9 from 2pm to 8pm⁣\n⁣\nLos Angeles River Center and Gardens⁣\n570 West Avenue 26⁣\nLos Angeles\, CA 90065⁣\n⁣ \nStarting from a ramshackled Hollywood backyard in 2005\, The Do-Over has turned into quite the Tinseltown Tale. Fueled by a summer of buckets of beers & questionable BBQ\, a simple idea came to life – let’s create a place where music breaks all barriers & brings together all walks of life. A space where house & hip-hop\, funk & salsa\, reggae & classics could all coexist. Where you would come for the music (vs the name of a DJ)\, stay for the connections & leave with the memories (albeit a bit fuzzy thanks to a carafe of sangria)… a place to do your weekend all-over! \n  \nTwo decades later\, The Do-Over has taken its fun-loving\, funky spirit around the Globe\, sparked lifelong friendships\, marriages (and maybe a divorce or two)\, inspired musical collaborations\, and even helped bring a few babies into the world—sometimes intentionally! We would also like to honor & remember those who are no longer with us but whose energy & love helped shape The Do-Over. \n  \nWhat started as a feeling has become a timeless story — a celebration of community\, culture\, and connection so it only makes sense — we’re celebrating the city that raised us and giving back to the community that keeps it moving. As the late\, great DJ Dusk once said\, “None of us are as strong as all of us.” In that spirit of unity\, we are deeply honored to collaborate with and celebrate some of our favorite crews — A Club Called Rhonda\, Donavan’s Yard\, Link Up!\, and Pangea Sound — whose contributions have helped define the cultural fabric of Los Angeles across generations. \n  \nAND it wouldn’t be a Do-Over without surprises !!! \n  \nPresented by KCRW\, AKILA and VANS \n* Your ticket helps us give back — proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the following non-profit organizations: Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights\, My Tribe Rise and Ghetto Youths Foundation. \n  \nTHIS EVENT IS RAIN OR SHINE.
