Black Milk has been creating music professionally since he was a teen, co-producing for Detroit’s beloved Slum Village as well as crafting his own works as a producer and rapper; 15+ years later, he’s still going strong. Each step of the way, Black has pushed sonic boundaries — starting his career with a classic soul-sampled sound and evolving it into an opus of live instrumentation, chopped and re-worked into an original amalgamation of funk, soul, jazz, psych rock, gospel, electronic and hip-hop. One thing about Black is for sure — you never know what to expect from his next musical offering.
